What Enneagram Number Are You?

Have you had someone ask you, “Hey, what’s your Enneagram number?”. Maybe you blurted out, “Yeah! I’m a 3!” or maybe have said, “What is the Enneagram?”. To be honest I’m not sure how long Enneagram has really been around, but I found out about this personality number about 2 years ago and ever since I took the test, it has been a confirmation on my personality and emotions. So you’re probably thinking, okay what exactly is the Enneagram? Well I’ll tell ya, and keep reading to find out how you can take your free personality test to discover your number or numbers. I’ll reveal my number at the end of this post.

The Enneagram is an ancient personality typing system aka personal growth self-assessment test with a mysterious accuracy in describing how we as human beings are wired, both positively and negatively. I highly suggest you read the book, The Road Back to You by Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile as both authors offer a unique approach that is practical to understand and they offer a comprehensive way of accessing Enneagram wisdom and exploring its connections with a Christian perspective. The book allows you to glance inside each of the nine Enneagram types (there are 9). After reading the book you will have a greater knowledge of yourself and start to see the world through others with an understanding why we act the way do, feel, and think. The test offers a way to change how you see yourself and others. The Enneagram helps in the areas of your career and relationships with others, and how each “types” relate to one another. It is a very cool thing to discover your number and then have a discussion with your friends to see what their numbers are and start to piece everyone together. I’m all about community, so the whole thing of finding your Enneagram is so cool because it gives me a chance to understand others on a different level and add depth to relationships. So, what are each of the numbers? Well I’ve placed them below, and at the end I’ll reveal my number!

Can you guess which Enneagram number am I? I’m a 2 (The Helper)! When I got the results of my test a couple years ago, it was almost spooky how spot on it was. As I started to discuss my number with others, it was neat to see how everyone was a different number and how those who had the same number as me, explained why we were such good friends! My number also explained to me why my emotions are all over the place at times when it comes to situations and relationships.
